The Learning Experience

Our technology rich program is made possible through our partner in education, Samsung. Together, we unite our innovate curricular approach with cutting edge technology. In addition to exploring the use of the Galaxy Tablet 10.1 device in the classroom and as a mobile device, New Media will support a 1:1 student to computer ratio. This enables a majority of our curricular resources to exist in a digital format to compliment existing paper formats. Our use of technology is a core component of student learning in all courses.

Technology will be seamlessly blended to facilitate the teaching and learning process within the building, and extending out to our satellite learning partners, COSI and the Columbus Museum of Art.

Teachers, administrators, parents, community members strive to create innovative learning experiences that will engage our diverse group of students with our many satellite learning partners. Project-based learning experiences develop and apply skills and knowledge to complex, interdisciplinary projects within and beyond the classroom. Our classrooms are fully inclusive, as we want to help all students to reach their full potential.

Building throughout a student's course of study at New Media Middle are ongoing opportunities to develop passion into skill. Students will have the opportunity to showcase their artistic talents through various exhibits, dance, drama and musical performances. Service learning opportunities for students to abound in our school through our New Media Ambassadors program.
